Urban Visionaries 2007 – Call for Entries

  |  |

Are you a young film/video maker, or do you know a young film/video maker who wants the opportunity to have their work screened at the longest running youth film festival? Have you been waiting to show your work to thousands of other young people?
Are you under 21?

If you answered yes to these questions, the Urban Visionaries Film Festival is for you!

The mission of Urban Visionaries is to provide youth with a forum to raise and discuss social, economic, cultural and political issues through the exhibition of youth-produced media. Through UVFF, youth challenge their peers to become active participants in their schools, their communities, and in the media.

Applicants may submit up to two videos on MiniDv or VHS. Work must be no longer than 15 minutes in length.

Tapes are due by January 3rd, 2007 and will be screened and selected by a committee of young media-makers. The screenings will take place at The Museum of Television & Radio at the end of March 2007.
